June 1998 Time: 20:30 Stage: MAIN STAGE ON THE DRAVA RIVER AKADEMSKA FOLKLORNA SKUPINA ŠTUDENT - the host of the 10th festival FOLKART 98 with the most attractive slovenian dances. The annual concert of folklore group "Študent" will be dedicated to 50th anniversary of the first folklore group in Slovenia founded by France Marolt. Today this group is named after him and is also academic. Mainly because of that the group "Študent", which will celebrate its 35th anniversary within a short time, decided to invite the group from Ljubljana in guests at their concert. This participation is a novelty because never before two academic groups performed together at their annual concert. We are going to see attractive dances from all regions of Slovenia. Both groups are proud of their gold Marolts award, the greatest slovenian folklore award.
